No Grub version?
I want to move this bit since it basically does what's done in the Babystep series. Also, it doesn't quite qualify as a barebones since it requires some part of a custom bootloader. - Combuster 20:06, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
"Bare bones" title
Does this qualify as a bare bones kernel? I mean, it's practically just a really tiny, useless version of Babystep8. Thoughts? --Troy Martin 02:53, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- The first part, yes - it does as much as any of the other barebones tutorials (boot from grub and do little after). For the second part however, see my post above. - Combuster 06:28, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- The second part is meant to be for boot loaders that do flat-binary loading and running. - Imate900 23:14, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Moved. See the move log/history. --Troy Martin 00:23, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Restored to normal
I think I restored this to normal with my edit on this page. I also added more info that was missing from last time. - Imate900 23:16, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
