Talk:Unit Testing

Should this page be merged into a section within Testing? It could be put in the advanced matters section, but it could also be argued that Unit testing is a seperate enough topic to deserve it's own page. Yayyak 01:56, 31 August 2007 (CDT)
- For now, keep them separate. This article is as large as the entire testing page and merging now would give the idea that two articles are crammed into one page. - Combuster 03:20, 31 August 2007 (CDT)
Regarding Combuster's last two edits, I don't think that's what the original author of the article had in mind. Notice that the two bullet points explain how unit testing can be used to improve the maintainability of a project, not how to develop or maintain the actual unit tests. IMO, the previous version did a better job at emphasizing what unit tests are useful for. The options are:
- To leave it as-is.
- To revert to the version before.
- To revert but also have a section that covers the use of unit tests (however, is this the place?).
