This (pointing to a grey box below the desk) is my computer, and I want to control every single bit of it myself.

So I decided to make my own OS. Last night, Grub booted my first "kernel", and my kernel wrote an 'A' in adress 0xB8000. I'm so excited :-) Big thanks to all who wrote the tutorials and tools that helped me to get so far.
